Train, Taste or Tailor?
We offer a variety of training for all your needs; our set training programme is based on tackling isolation and loneliness and comprises of an intro to IT, basic use, email, video calling, storing media such as images, connecting to and creating a social network, shopping and individual support such joining groups that interest you.
We believe that isolation and loneliness can only be supported with IT if we begin giving you the tools and advice to connect; our aim is never to train and leave and we believe in exploring how social networks and IT best suits your needs.
Tailor your Training
We are very happy to offer a tailored approach to our training and so feel free to get in touch for a discussion; we have our way but you know your residents/clients and so we believe in working together to give you the best and most relevant service possible.
For example; many organisations support tenancy and so we can offer a system where we can teach people to use utility websites such as the Council tax, gas, electric, water, phone etc.
We believe everyone can learn IT and so we provide a taster service to see if it’s right for you/your organisation. A taster session is a perfect starter as it allows familiarity and understanding before any commitment to either a device or longer term training.
If you have your own devices this can be particularity useful as it allows you to rotate your clients/residents throughout the taster period and decide who might benefit the most. For organisations who offer an internet package with their tenancies this can drastically increase the take-up of your service.
